From an Idea to a Movement: The Journey of Party Bus Nepal
September 28, 2026
On 15 September, we celebrated more than the relaunch of Party Bus Nepal. For me, it marked the beginning of a new chapter in a journey that started with a simple belief: Nepal deserves new and innovative ways to experience tourism, hospitality, and entertainment.
When Party Bus Nepal was first developed, our intention was never simply to operate a party bus. We wanted to create something different-an experience where the journey itself becomes part of the destination.
That vision began with our Chairman and Founder, Mr. Ashok Sharma, whose belief was that Nepal needed to embrace new forms of entertainment and experience-driven tourism. Inspired by international concepts and the growing global experience economy, he envisioned bringing an international-standard mobile entertainment experience to Nepal.
His vision was not simply about introducing a new vehicle. It was about introducing a new way of experiencing entertainment, travel, and celebration.
Why a Club on Wheels?
One of the fundamental ideas behind Party Bus Nepal was simple: Why should entertainment always be limited to a fixed location?
Traditional clubs and entertainment venues operate from a particular address. A Club on Wheels changes that concept by bringing the venue to the people.
Nepal is a country where tourism extends across multiple cities and destinations, each with its own attractions, hospitality businesses, events, and travel experiences. As tourism continues to develop beyond a single destination, we believe entertainment experiences should have the ability to move with it.
That is where the idea of a Club on Wheels becomes particularly relevant.
Instead of asking people to travel to a venue, the experience itself can travel with them.
Our ambition is to develop this concept across major cities and tourism destinations in Nepal, creating a mobile platform that can serve celebrations, events, nightlife experiences, corporate gatherings, tourist groups, and other occasions wherever the demand exists.
Party Bus Nepal’s existing concept is built around this philosophy: the vehicle becomes the venue, the journey becomes the experience, and the ride becomes part of the celebration.
From an Idea to a Journey
Our original vision was closely connected to Nepal’s tourism industry. We saw an opportunity to introduce a mobile entertainment concept that could complement the country’s growing hospitality, events, and tourism ecosystem.
Then COVID-19 changed everything.
Like many businesses, we faced a difficult decision. We could either allow the circumstances to bring the idea to an end or find another way to keep the vision alive.
We chose the latter.
We took the concept to India, where the experience continued to evolve. That chapter gave us valuable lessons, strengthened our understanding of the industry, and, perhaps most importantly, reinforced something I already believed: this idea ultimately belonged in Nepal.
Bringing It Home
Our relaunch on 15 September was therefore deeply meaningful to me and to our entire team.
Standing in Kathmandu and seeing our partners, friends, hospitality professionals, tourism stakeholders, and supporters come together was a reminder of why we started this journey in the first place.
Nepal was always home to this vision. And now, we are bringing it back with greater experience, greater ambition, and a much clearer understanding of where we want to go.
Our goal is not simply to bring back Party Bus Nepal. Our goal is to build a new category of mobile experiences in Nepal—one that connects entertainment, hospitality, travel, celebrations, and tourism.
Looking Beyond the Bus
The relaunch is only the beginning.
We are already looking ahead to the next stage of our growth, including the expansion of our fleet with caravans and camper vans, as well as the gradual introduction of our experiences to major destinations across Nepal.
I believe Nepal has enormous potential for experience-driven tourism. As the country continues to attract both domestic and international travellers, there is an opportunity to create experiences that are not only memorable, but also uniquely connected to the way people travel, celebrate, and discover Nepal.
That is the direction we want to pursue.
The Road Ahead
Every business has moments that define its journey. For Party Bus Nepal, 15 September was one of those moments.
What began as an idea, survived an unprecedented disruption, continued through another market, and ultimately returned home has now entered its next chapter.
There is still a long road ahead, and we know that growth will come with its own challenges. But we are excited about what lies ahead.
Our vision is simple: to create experiences that people remember and to build a brand that contributes meaningfully to Nepal’s tourism, hospitality, and entertainment landscape.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported us, believed in the concept, and joined us for this next chapter.
We are back where we belong. And this time, we are only getting started.
